KTVs

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

They're not hard to miss, but usually they also don't allow foreigners in, unless you go with someone known to the club (read: high ranking official, bongthom, rich). I've been to one, one time only, the owner didn't initially want to let me and the other white guy that was with us in, but the guys we were with were very persuasive...and they all had to hand their weapons in to security before entering.

I think there are many kinds of KTVs. Some KTVs are no hot girls, just for sing only :p
Some KTVs are for simple people, with friends or families and the drink is not expensive like the specail ones.
