Gorgeous Bar sold!

Gorgeous bar on street 5, between 130 and 118 street has been sold and the new owner is a Lynn.The new sign bearing her name will be up in the next 2 weeks. She is a nice lady and seems fairly switched on. She has made a few cosmetic changes to the outside, improved the feel of the place and made some staff changes. They open around 12pm and Angkor draft is 2000 Riel until 8pm and $1 thereafter. I think lady drinks are $3.

Let's say the rent is $800 a month. Draft beer costs $0.40 per 330ml mug. So when selling 50 cent draft beer the profit is $0.10 per mug. That's 8,000 draft beers a month, or around 250 a night to cover the rent. Salaries, electricity and all other costs still to be covered...
At Honeypot and Angry Birds bars we do about 60-80 mugs of draft a night.
Yes this is a very crude analysis and doesn't take into account any ladydrinks that the beer drinkers buy, but generally I've found that happy-hour beer drinkers just do that - drink cheap beer and buy very few ladydrinks.
But I genuinely wish Lynn good luck, street 5 is a difficult street for hostess bars. Domino bar closed, Peaches bar was sold, now Gorgeous bar is changing hands.

if u hv beautiful ladies im sure there will be more LD sold, thats why the biz model of hostess starts in the first place, but nowadays all i see r girls sitting n looking at their phones
