Good nightclubs in Phnom Penh to recommend?

I'm a fan of Code Red and Pontoon, been to Darlin Darlin a couple of times and couldn't stand it, Nova is ok but generally full of stuck up snobs imo, some of the Khmer clubs are great fun if you go with a decent group but they generally play the music wayyyy too loud through poor quality sound systems.

OP...what sort of music do you like to hear at the clubs? This might help posters suggest places more suited to your taste.

Ali Baba, I don't have a particular stance on swinging, though I prefer dance styles with a lot of body contact. If you meant "swinging," only with smoking hot couples.

PSD-kiwi, that's a good question. I like to dance to pop rock, ambient techno, electro dance, and electro remixes of pop songs among others. Anything with strong beats.

Nova is OK but their prices can be high, last time I checked they wanted to charge $10 entrance fee so I ended up at pontoon...
There's a club that can be good at the cambodiana hotel, not sure of the name, mostly well off khmers in their 20s and 30s

Where's code red ? I thought it was some viagra type male vitamin ...

I'm not a fan or clubs but I'd be willing to show you and your husband a good time if you'd like to join my fiancee and myself in a restaurant. What is your attitude toward swinging, btw?

I once went to Pontoon, never again.

The last time I was at HOD, some 60 year old filipino was simulating doggy-style on the dance floor with his boyfriend, really classy.

I always liked Martini's, nice dance floor and surrounding area.

Enjoyed Maos drag artists show, very good, and cool music.

Never been to Sharky's, heard I'm not missing anything and the marketing guy needs help.

Must try and get to The Rock if it's still open sometime, I never get to see spoilt okhna's kids in the traffic.

I think they changed The Rock but I can't recall into what XD

Last time (before they recently renovated), it seemed to be targeted to older Cambodians as it was toting "cha cha cha" and "waltz" on the front.

Was at high club a few nights ago. ItÂ´s close to that mushroom shaped tower near olympic stadium. Good fun for the local experience but I wouldnÂ´t recommend it to anyone who has problems standing close to a starting jet. Bottles of beer were reasonable priced. After that we went to one of the upscale Khmer nightclubs pretty far up on monivong. Looked grand inside (HOD looks like a capitol gh room compared to that) but the dj played eurothrash popmusic from the 90ies so we had to leave quickly.
