it had about the same as kangeroo around this corner
I went past there a few months ago and the place was heaving at least 150 people there!
it must have been some club as they all had similar t shirts on decided to go to kangeroo instead which was dead

The "Hash" runners have a party there after their runs. You probably saw that. Its a real shame someone with some money, drive and hotel/bar/restaurant background don't/didn't take it over. Its becoming more run down than it was before (if that's possible.) Without the internet site to draw guys from around the world and Toni's bar personality, I believe the place is doomed or will just limp along. I do like to set, have an iced tea and watch the traffic sometimes from the front porch. Its got the location, now it needs a good owner.

Re: A Gold Mine/Freelancers Sihanoukville
If it was 150 people with matching T Shirts it was probably either the Poker Run or the 12 Bars of Xmas outing, I doubt The Hash has that many followers in Sihanoukville.
Regarding the development behind Ochheuteal Beach, hopefully it will be more like Pub street in SR with restaurants and general bars instead of more ''girlie bars''. It can be only a matter of time before all of the ''girlie bars'' are relegated back to Victory Hill and out of the way.
If Sihanoukville is to grow and develop it needs to appeal to more family type visitors who will not want to walk past bars with customers using their wallets to entice the girls to their rooms. Unfortunately at the present time the majority of customers would appear to be old men leering and grabbing girls not only young enough to be their daughters but in many cases their grand-daughters.
