I vote for an invite - only forum. We'll need to invite Peter Storm, though, as his stories are quite interesting.

I thought that is what the VIP area was anyway invite only. I vote for that.

Re: Freelancers in Pontoon 2014
Whilst the awareness raised by this thread is commendable, some here are unbelievable. I am not trying to create enemies, neither am I out to be some sort of Political Correctness Authority.
I'm not in any position to be judging anyone, but from the outside looking in, some comments/posts have appalling content.
Seems like a growing trend that I turn up and kill the buzz...but come on people we need to set a standard. [If] People in all corners of the world get an opportunity or a peek at a thread like this; treating women like a tub of ice cream in a supermarket and comparing flavours/store prices.
It's a little pathetic.

Not all threads will interest every poster. The heated religious topics a while back didn't interest me. The threads about bar girls obviously don't interest you. Topics like that are of interest to some people; no need to belittle them. We can all choose to ignore the threads that we don't find worthy of our time. Please spend your time and effort on CEO creating new and relevant threads that you personally find interesting, instead of making negative comments on the conversations of others. Let the better quality content prevail, whatever that may be. Surely there is enough room for all of us.VLayHo-ho-ho wrote:I'm not in any position to be judging anyone, but from the outside looking in, some comments/posts have appalling content.

that's exactly what THEY do when they start selling their body and asking a price tag and therefore they're treated accordingly.VLayHo-ho-ho wrote:treating women like a tub of ice cream in a supermarket and comparing flavours/store prices.
and please stop pretending that sex for a woman is something of such a high value, there are sex workers who can screw with a dozen customers per day as if it was the most normal thing on earth, it's a job and it pays very well or they wouldn't do it.
besides, who told you all customers treat women like shit ? that's only your assumption.

He didn't say anyone treated them like shit, he said ice cream. If you don't know the difference, then I'm never having ice cream at your house.Drifter wrote: besides, who told you all customers treat women like shit ? that's only your assumption.

in his own words he said "it's pathetic to treat women like ice cream and flavours".Soi Dog wrote:He didn't say anyone treated them like shit, he said ice cream. translation : he's sickened by men treating girls like sexual objects (objectification).
problem is, objectification happens because women objectify themselves, men are only adapting to the environment and playing their cards accordingly, they're playing a passive role in this scenario, women are the active role and responsible for this but refuse any accountability.

I'm not belittling anyone.
Yes, ok this thread isn't of any interest to me, however I feel that there should be other opinions that aren't so biased towards the men's role in all of this.
Yes, also women this and women that blah blah blah...if a woman can master such a trade and gain from it, she deserves my respect and adulation. In a world full of men, women don't get enough recognition for their contribution to this world.
Back on topic, if this is their (freelancers) only means of steady income and find it easier to live with, instead of working in a garment factory, then so be it. But who has a right to decide the price of a human being? Short time, Long time, overpriced, inflation. If a woman thinks she's worth $100 or $1,000 then up to her.
