This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

i don't visit hostess bars, go go's etc ( and to be truthful i haven't in 10+ years ) an have zero interest in them, an one reason why, even if i did, i would not buy a lady drink>
pay to converse with someone whose english is at a 10 years olds level;?

I have nothing against girls that choose this life style, but reading comment's here and on other forums ( thai ones as well) seems many girls are more interested in lady drinks than "offs" , where as 15-30 years ago it was getting those "offs" that brought in the BIG $$$

I wonder if the girls' are still required to have so many "offs" /month as before?
any comment from our resident hostess bar owner?

I think you should find a different field of work. I don't know, maybe become a fortune teller or something. Based on the amount of assumptions you make it might actually suit you.

Going off the OP's quote:
I have been mongering all over the world and 2 times at year in Cambodia during 2000 - 2017 but never seen any change that turned so negative as in Phnom Penh.
I think the crux of the issue is not so much that he doesn't want to buy a lady drink...rather, the rate of change i.e. that he didn't used to have to do that so much 6 years ago and that Cambodia now is worse for this than other mongering places eg Pattaya, Angeles etc.
