beer. and lots of it.

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

if you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

cautious colin wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2019 9:08 pm Genuine question, when did $4 for half a pint become acceptable in cambodia.

London prices
Quite right.

568 ML per pint. 330ml bottles. So that's 0.58 of a pint. That's a half in my book, regardless of the 350ML glasses.

$4 divided by 330ml is $0.012 multiply 566ml = $6.88 per pint. Divided by £/$ 1.23 = £5.59 a pint. CENTRAL London prices.

And they taste last grass clippings or compost heaps.

ah......

so you are on about the Imperial Pint eh....

where i hail, a pint is 16oz or 473ml.

i understand the confusion now. two countries separated by a common language.....

any way... it's great beer at a more than fair price. it's not for everybody... but what is right?

All good pints are Imperial Pints surpassed only by the mighty German Liter Glasses.

Your prices look reasonable bro as i like real beer and not a big lager fan.

In my Sangkat is 5500 Riels for a jug (4 cans) without lady pouring your glass, or 7000 Riels with eye-candy company.

Round the corner 5 mins away is a tower (12 beers) for 6$ with buy one get one free.

Even though I don't like lager my friends do, so after a tower I don't care anymore.

As I say - on-par prices better than most in Phnom Penh.

Have a good success.

Last year in Kampot we came across a boutique Rum bar, all these weird infused flavors

hope they are still around this year

I'm not a craft beer fan, each to their own, I think they all taste the same so maybe my tastes aren't refined enough
Happy with an ice cold Klang!
Even the ugly ones

There are no pints of beer in USA.
Only imitations.
I would sooner trust the Cambodian pint TBH.
