Where Do Swedes Hang Out in Cambodia

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

Good point about language.

But I never understood Aussies and Kiwis flocking to the bar, living together etc in London. In Australia it’s the Brits gathering together.
Then you don't really understand human biology.
I don't either. What is this "human biology" that you speak of ? :Search:
What makes people tribal?
Self protection, fear, small mindedness
Small mindedness ! Really is that the best you got. I refer you to my previous comment, and I remind you of yours. You obviously don't.

Your inability to see the truth in my words is unsurprising

There are three segments that compose the right and left “wing segments” (33 percent of the American population); they are highly ideological and politically active. Each of the extremes holds the mirror image of each other: Each sees “the other side” as irrational, agitated, dogmatic, and angry. For them, the tribal behavior has intensified. Even though they are not even half of the population, their dynamics are dangerous as they wield a disproportionate influence in politics and public discourse.

Tribalism’s Blindness

There is nothing wrong with being tribal except when it blinds us to reason; sadly it does this quite often in the modern world. Writer Michael Adams says the tribe tells people the following:

“Don’t step outside the bounds. Don’t draw outside the lines. Don’t do anything that your tribe wouldn’t do. For example, if you’re gay, then you have to be progressive. You can’t be a gay conservative . . . If you are with Black Lives Matter you are not allowed to support police officers.”

There is a swedish guy who runs a girly bar on 118 called Baccarat but the staff probably cant speak a word o swedish.
I do understand if you go abroad and are not a native-english-speaker, you do look for people from your country, just to speak your own language at the other side of the world makes it special. But for english people, ppfff, you are ofcourse fu**** with also the yanks and aussi, not everybody wants to hook up with them (and yes i know these languages are not exactly the same). I met a southafrican couple at koh kong border in december and we do speak more or less a similar language, it feels funny to speak that at a bordercrossing in the middle of nowhere (for me after been travelling very far without hearin a word of my language).

Isn't that psychology?

The desire to be with people who are similar to you is in your psyche, not your platelet or glucose levels.

Yes and no. For example conditioning is a biological function brought on by environmental effect.
