Hi, sorry it s me again!

I was suppose to make my own brand in france but i had change for open bar in cambodia...

So now i want to ask you if it can work to have t shirt shop in cambodia?

I have my own brand, my own style, it s not tourist t shirt or other shit like that.

I m sure that is good, but i don t know about the mode in cambodia.

I will have maybe 15 differents models.

I need very small space , so small rent to pay.

It is easy to find textile factory in cambodia? And this idea could it work ? Thanks.

How about this?
Before you leave your country, go around to some clothing shops and show them your designs. If they are interested, tell them you want to send them some samples.
Come to Cambodia, go to several garment factories. Check their work quality and prices for your designs.
Get samples made and send them to the shops in your country. Get them to order your products.
Go back to the garment factory, order your stuff. Send it back to your customers in your country and double your money.
Repeat above.

There are/were a lot of foreigners doing this sort of thing in Thailand. Leather bags, belts, jewellery, clothing, etc.

There WERE 2 South Africans doing exactly this on one of the streets to the east of Sivutha Blvd

They would download images from the internet and print them on a t-shirt

I commissioned a t-shirt with the very famous photo of
Norodom Sihanouk and Khieu Samphan hugging one another in 1973

Anyway, I think those guys lasted in business about 6 months. Maybe more or maybe less.

Great. Problem is tourists only want to buy cheap tourist shit and elephant happy pants like they've just come from eating happy pretzels at a German bakery in Pune.

Any idea could work, but that doesn't mean it will.

Buy your ticket, come and try. If it works, it works. if it doesn't, learn from it and try something else.

Leave 1,000 francs with your family so they can wire it to you if your idea doesn't work and you want to go home.

Yes, it's printing but good design, one professional did design for me . You can't see it anywhere else. Even if I sell only 3 t shirt per day I have enough money per month . Nobody know where the is factory ? I want good quality.

forget Cambodia, My friend does all the merchandising for all rock bands & the WWW in and around asia. Gets all his shirts an printing ( computer up to 6 colors) in the Philippines, much cheaper than anywhere and western quality we are talking up to 3,000 tees/month an for a top act double that) and they buy their high quality blank tee shirts /Polo shirts from China,
