E0 lease for sale
#128A St. 19 (near corner with St. 172) (formerly Buffalo Sister)
About 90 square metres (3x20 plus 3x10 mezzanine). It's an empty shell right now, a blank canvas for your creation.
Rent is $600 per month, lease runs until 1 February 2018. The deposit for the lease is $4200. You don't get it back at the end of the term, you just don't pay rent for the final 7 months.
PM me if you're interested.

Excuse me, but why would somebody rent an aisle for $ 600 per month ? Are we going totally crazy now ???
Und der Haifisch der hat Tränen
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht
In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht

Re: E0 lease for sale
As mentioned elsewhere I'm cutting my losses on this. The landlord will be round for his rent on the 1st of October. If noone has agreed to buy the lease by then I will simply hand back the keys and walk away.
So the price I'm asking today is $4000. Yes, it will keep going down for the next 2 weeks. There's a lower limit I'll accept so don't bother offering me $500. I'd sooner lose it all and consider the lesson well learned than have someone really take the piss.

Unrelated, if you get the chance to try the roast beef sandwich at the new Buffalo Sisters in TTP, go for it - especially if you're hanging out for western style roast beef/pork. The gravy, served on the side, is exceptional. I've eaten there a few times, never been disappointed.
WJF - sorry I hadn't made the connection the last few times we'd spoken, I knew we'd met before but wasn't sure of the context.

Re: E0 lease for sale
Excuse my ignorance, but did you get screwed over at the St 19 premises?
If so, what's the story? I live nearby and see so many businesses go belly up, or maybe they just move.
I hear that a Barang has recently rented a similar sized place on my street for $1150 a month - just madness, the last two businesses there lasted 3 months and about 6 months respectively. The Woman tells me that some of the locals are angry with said Barang because other places will now ask for more rent.

Your business negotiating skills need work. I can't say I've ever seen an advert that says "This is the price now, but if you hold off a bit, you can save money."walkjivefly wrote: So the price I'm asking today is $4000. Yes, it will keep going down for the next 2 weeks.
Good luck with it anyway.

Was that addressed to me? No, not screwed over. I just decided it was all to much effort for likely not enough return. I should have decided that before spending any money but I was looking for something to anchor me in Phnom Penh for a while.Joker Poker wrote:Excuse my ignorance, but did you get screwed over at the St 19 premises?
