Business Partner Wanted

If you are looking for a business to buy in Cambodia, you've come to the right place! This is a section where owners can post their businesses for sale and where others in the community can ask questions about starting a business here. Foreigners can own 100% of a business here in Cambodia, and it's a pretty simple process to buy or sell, whether it's a bar, restaurant, hotel, or anything else. Have questions about what paperwork is needed for your company? Ask away. Curious if the expat bar on Street 136 selling for $100,000 is a good deal? Start a discussion on CEO and we'll let you know what we think.

Does the OP realise that he will need to employ Cambodians in his possible businesses? After 10 months in the country does he really understand the pitfalls of being an employer. Many barangs who thought they were clever were scammed by their staff, it's like organised crime and so easy for them. I get back to the Khmer language skills.
I worked for the bagman and he was being scammed. Cambodians understand that the rich employers are scammers so why should they not do the same albeit on a smaller scale.

For what it's worth, my suggestion is you look at the thread on bitcoin.
It seems there are more ways than one in which to invest one's hard earened.

Yeah... bitcoin... its gonna go up forever. Oh wait, its February 18 not December 17.
Clearly someone with no future vision. Be careful lest you waste valuable time.

In the 7 months that I have lived here, I have met many business owners, 'living the dream'....just by sitting down in a bar and chatting with people. I'm going to suggest you do the same.
This way, we forum readers don't have to wade through the futility of your posts and responses to posts.

There are opportunities out there, and I could tell you where that opportunity is, but I'm not going to violate anyone's privacy to do so.

Personally, and don't take this personally, you don't sound like you would be an enjoyable business partner, and that would only lead to problems.

Best of luck. :hattip:
Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback. Just for the record you don't have to read this thread, you do so by your own free will. If you are not interested simply don't read it.

No... I didn't realise I would have to hire Cambodians... never crossed my mind.

Come on guys, I'm sure there are loads of other threads where you can talk about other issues relating to business in Cambodia. This one is titled "Business Partner Wanted". Can you relate your comments to that in any way?

To the OP.

pczz is spot on.

I have had businesses - hospitality and tourism and property - in the Kingdom off and on since 2003. I get my income from Cambodia, I do not work in my businesses, I have businesses (usually with partners), not a poorly paid job that I have bought and I manage to travel extensively.

As pczz said you are undercaptalised. You may get to live the dream, but it is doubtful.

Your responses are a major deterrent to anyone who would consider partnering with you. You do not seem able to listen or be objective.

Good luck, you are going to need it.

PS. This is a discussion forum, you do not get to dictate the responses or the direction of a thread.
