The number of air passengers passing through SAI has increased to 32,000 per day, increasing from just 26,000 in October, when the airport was put into commencement.
The average number of air passengers increased from 2,600 to 3,200 per day, and most of them are from ASEAN countries and China, SSCA’s Under Secretary of State Sin Chansereyvutha told Khmer Times.
The number of air passengers passing through the newly -commenced Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport (SAI) has continued to grow, with a record of 3,200 a day, up from 2,600 on October 24.

It's a 3 week "round the world" package tour flight which started and will end in Paris. Well spotted, there are 14 arrival flights today. So if you say 28 movements - that would mean 1,142 per plane (32000/28). How does SAI get direct flights to Da Nang? How much demand is there for that route? What is even stranger is the price. If you want to go next week it will set you back $466, and if you want to book in January it is even more at $510. This 777 world tour flight obviously gave them ideas. The recent articles contain suggestions of flights to SAI from other "tourist centers", e.g. Denpasar, Da Nang, Cebu.
As for pricing, this is the way - if you haven't got enough customers and you're losing money, simply increase the price until you're in profit. To be fair, that can work on occasions and is a recognised economic phenomenon.

There used to be a Cebu Pacific flight to from SR to Cebu. If I lived in Bangkok I could go to so many places directly. PP is such a backwater in this regard.
