My Canadia bank only made me fill out paperwork on deposits over $1,000us.
Good to know. I was thinking of opening an aba account.
FYI: That was done five years ago to make the movie fit the restrictive TV time slot format of content/ads, before the Chief Executive Orange was even a candidate. Of course, the Trump simpletons don't mention that, assuming they even knew some facts.

Oh, this is going to hurt, but Canadia Bank has Canadian roots, as it was started by Khmer Canadians.

And yes, National Bank of Canada is one of the Big Six.

Next to me was a Chinese gentleman pulling large stacks of $100 bills from a backpack full of cash. I wonder what he wrote on the form.

Is this for any amount?

Unless they adapt the machines for cash deposit with source of funds input on the screen, or place a daily or monthly limit on cash deposits without declaring the source of funds, those machines could be redundant forever. And that means huge queues at the cashiers forever too.
