I'm intrigued in how this scam works. You have a guest who checks out and flees and then the Hotelier's Association puts out a warning and then what? How is anyone supposed to gain from this in any way? Can someone explain this?

Hanno. Wrong the hotel are saying you got my passport details by default. They said it is against the law for them to give out information like that. Now you are accountable to them and me, you can hide behind your pseudonym for the moment. You broke the law and the evidence is on here. Plus your false and fictitious claims. I am now taking legal action against this site and you.

I appreciate that spending your entire life fixing washing machines can mess with your head a bit. And seeing that towards the tail end of your life the only thing that pops up when people google your name is that you once did a runner in Cambodia must have really pushed you over the edge.

That’s probably why, instead of discreetly sending a pm to the General, perhaps with some proof that it’s all been sorted and asking him to expunge the 4 year old thread, you went at it like a total c***.
Now that nasty Google algorithm has kicked in and ... oh dear.

Carry on you lot, I know what the truth is but someone stealing a copy of a passport and posting it will get severe consequences.

Wait, so you booked the room with booking.com before your visit, paid for the room through them, then did a runner from the hotel without paying your bill (cos of an "emergency"), then settled with the hotel through SCB, two days after you bailed, paying again for a room that you had already paid for at point of booking, through booking.com?????
