First EU Trade Fair Held in Cambodia

Phnom Penh: At the trade show "EU Trade Fair 2018" that was held over the weekend, the Trade Ministry senior official said that in 2017, the trade volume between Cambodia and the European Union was over US$ 6 billion.

Secretary of State Tea Reththong, Secretary of State inaugurated the "Trade Fair 2018" trade fair held from June 29 to July 1, 2018 at Koh Pich Conference Hall, Phnom Penh. She said the exhibit aims to: 1) promote products imported from countries in Europe
2) Find markets for goods imported from Cambodia and strengthen investment partnership between Cambodia and the European Union 3) Strengthen good cooperation in economy, trade, diplomacy between Cambodia - European Union, etc.

This was the first EU Trade Fair to be held in Cambodia.
