Much of this year's increase was due to an agreement with Nagaworld who have accepted to pay an additional $16.6M tax on top of their $6M base rate.
Ros Phearun, deputy director of finance industry at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, told Khmer Times yesterday that the increase in casino tax collection was due to several factors that includes the country’s political stability, increase in tourist arrivals and a new tax rate that NagaWorld had to pay for their non-gaming operations...
