No shit. I was referring to the water board, Sihanouk port and the electric company (or was it the telephone)? All 3 were told to list but only the water board was well managed enough to jump all the regulatory hurdles.

I find it funny that none of the major banks listed... They should have been the first to list.

We're thinking of listing CEO on the Cambodian Stock Exchange.

We're probably too transparent though.

Despite the somewhat lackluster opening days for the Grand Twins listing and the thin trading in Phnom Penh Water Supply, another Taiwanese-owned garment company and additional state-owned companies are considering beginning the process of listing on the CSX. Further listings are sorely needed to build the CSX. Despite this slow start to the stock exchange, Cambodia remains an attractive investment destination. If your company is considering investing in Cambodia, our newly-updated Guide to Doing Business in Cambodia provides a good overview of the legal and regulatory environment here.
Looks like some new prospects for the CSK are developing!

That would involve some sort of systematic, outside oversight of financial statements, elected boards of directors, and accountability to shareholders. Not likely to happen.

Given Vietnam and China are Cambodia's closest allies and closest business partners, I wonder why none of their companies are listed on the CSX. :x

Just trying to find company information on the CSX site would put me off investing here. No NTA, P/E, dividend info to be seen. Terrible bar graphs to display market info. Annoying pop down menus everywhere. Yuck.

I've downloaded and am presently reading the last 3 quarterly reports from PPWSA. NTA appears to be in the minus's from a premlinary look. Not good.

They need a serious player or two to get on board. Banks are good. I'd be in like a robbers dog if Acleda listed.
