Cambodia-China Trade Volume Reaches Some US$3 Billion in First Four Months
AKP Phnom Penh, May 27, 2021 --

Bilateral trade between Cambodia and China was valued at about US$3,000 million in the first four months of 2021, a year-on-year increase of nearly 20 percent.

Figures from the Ministry of Commerce show that from January to April 2021, Cambodia exported almost US$424 million worth of goods to China, up 42.43 percent compared to the same period last year.

At the same time, Cambodia’s imports from China were amounted to US$2,580 million, a year-on-year increase of 16.70 percent, added the same source.

Cambodia mostly exported agricultural products including milled rice, mangoes, and cassava to China, and imported industrial products, raw materials, and construction materials from China.

The two countries have placed high hope on the increase of their trade exchange after their bilateral FTA was signed last October.

The agreement is expected to be ratified by the governments of both countries within this year, aiming to make it come into effect as early as possible.

April
Trade between EU, UK, USA, Au and China boomed by 25 - 35% as Western demand for cheap Chinese shit continued to explode and China imported all the advanced circuitry, steel making materials and top quality foodstuffs it could squeeze through its mega-ports.

So much for all the hero talk about relying less on China.
We are making them kings instead. All 87 billion of them. (or whatrever)

I don't understand finance and economics much, but couldn't the billion or so Chinese try and eat more mangos or pangolins or something to help Cambodia more? 8)
Silence, exile, and cunning.
