Re: Bitcoin
This is pretty interesting news too. Mastercard will let merchants accept payments in crypto later this year. I'm glad I got into this already back in 2015
https://www.mastercard.com/news/perspec ... r-network/We are preparing right now for the future of crypto and payments, announcing that this year Mastercard will start supporting select cryptocurrencies directly on our network.

Re: Bitcoin
No, I just kept whatever (little) I had left. Still not too shabby at today's price, it just pales in comparison to "what could have been"... So Thailand it is for retirement, not the Bahamas!Powaline_Digi wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 4:52 pmNot bad 300 --> 10kAlex wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 7:25 amCareful there, I said the same when the price first surpassed $10,000 and sold most (which I had originally acquired at prices around $300). NKOTB
Be advised
China is kicking out more than half the world’s bitcoin miners – and a whole lot of them could be headed to Texas
n May, Beijing called for a severe crackdown on bitcoin mining and trading, setting off what’s being dubbed in crypto circles as “the great mining migration.”
Texas is an ideal destination for miners, thanks to its abundance of solar and wind power, its unregulated market, and its crypto-friendly political stance.
China has long been home to more than half the world’s bitcoin miners, but now, Beijing wants them out ASAP.

Re: Bitcoin
China wants cryptocurrency for itself (naturally) and has been pushing it’s version hard for it’s BRI ‘members’ to accept.
Is it any wonder?
Not sure about the miners wanting to come to Texas.
Outside of the extremely liberalistic big cities, much of the countryside is still conservative. But demographics are shifting it to no longer solidly conservative to mixed.
And Hurricane season has arrived.
