Too many very smart people are right but they don't make money. Bitcoin may have dips but it won't go to zero. Buy the dips. ETH too. And altcoins (not too much). I hate the crypto scene but the markets don't care about my feelings.
That’s a great strategy right up until the moment that it isn’t any more. Good luck.

This sounds like complete nonsense.
Ok.
From the guy who said it’s easier for a Cambodian to get a visa to the UK than a westerner to get a Cambodian visa (to paraphrase).

Utter tosh. Our own Jamie got a visa - no ties, no kids, no wife, no property.

Bitcoin relies on false information. It’s why it’s still relevant.

1. If your guy had a way to buy all that bitcoin then he had a way to sell it too, that's why it's nonsense.

2. What you're misquoting me on had an important caveat which you missed out; It's easier when following the rules, and if you don't work for a local company then that certainly seems to be the case and was in our instance.

I personally don't believe in Bitcoin. I think it's flawed an inefficient, and it's a hype. But in the great scheme of things my opinion really doesn't matter, and I followed the guidelines some investors give to invest a small part of my money in Bitcoin. I bought about half a bitcoin for myself (started buying sept. 2019), and about 0.2 bitcoin for my kid. I bought it when the bitcoin was in the 3000-6000 range. Needless to say I never made so much profit (well, on paper) in such a relatively short time.

Now I am planning my exit strategy. I'm currently thinking about selling part of it, at least the value I spent when buying, and holding on to the rest. Let's see what happens..... Selling bitcoin isn't difficult, nor is buying, assuming you have a bank account abroad.

BINGO!
Great idea to sell a little bit now and buy back on the next correction. As you say, it's not a game I approve of, but who cares what I think? Humility is necessary if you want to do well in investment. Hubris is disastrous! I made that mistake big time.
BTW, Buy and sell any crypto through Coinbase Pro. MSTR stock is a good proxy for BTC, better than GBTC which has massive premiums to NAV.
On dips I buy more ETH than BTC nowadays.

great idea, cash out ur initial investment, let the rest ride, ( at least till it hits $100,000)

I brought a few bitcoins way way back and used them on the dark net for purchases, had like .5 left and lost my wallet log in. ah well....

UN report: North Korea stole $300m in crypto to fund nukes
SEOUL: North Korea has stolen more than US$300 million worth of cryptocurrencies through cyberattacks in recent months to support its banned nuclear and ballistic missile programmes, according to a confidential UN report.

Compiled by a panel of experts monitoring sanctions on Pyongyang, the report said the country's "total theft of virtual assets from 2019 to November 2020 is valued at approximately $316.4 million", citing a UN member state.

Probably better to get out a little than risk it tanking. I don't see it going up much more.
