I know it's an old thread but the AUD is 0.67 now.
Must be near impossible for Australian pensioners to survive in Cambodia now.

Export competitiveness won't help either with the drought.

Makes it easy for the Chinese to buy more of it too.

Bad news for me. I have to exchange a large sum of Aussie $ and have been putting it off for as long as I can hoping it will go up a bit but crunch time has come today and I can no longer put it off.

Yes it would be cheaper for me to live in OZ now but my long term commitments to family here still are number one priority.

I meant for myself. I get paid in USD and for me Oz hasn't been that cheap for a long time.
