You ABA account number can be found on any receipt you have from them. That bank account number, plus the swift code, is enough for a wire transfer from the USA.

Could you go to a Western Union office Cambodia and wire the funds to Huntington bank?
Are people saying it is not allowed to send money out of Cambodia to the USA? A grey listing...
I have been doing this money tango for years ..
I had 2 Canadia bank accounts...not grasping that my PP account and Sihanoukville were not the same..
Like in the USA where all branches are linked.
Then, I moved to Kampot..I feared a 3rd account .
I tried to transfer my money from Sihanoukville to PP online but it would only allow me to transfer from PP to Sihanoukville. I wanted to close the Sihanoukville account...meant I had to go there. Didn't want to.
Meanwhile, I did not use my PP account for a year and they froze it. My money is still there..I was told on line I would have to go into my bank in PP to unfreeze it. Kept landing at 10pm on Saturdays. I had a window of opportunity in 2019 and the line I was in the staff all went to lunch ...I got pissed after 90 minutes and left..So, I still have my active Sihanoukville account and in PP $200us frozen in what I thought was a savings account...hence, I did not spend it.
Now, I live in Siem Reap.
I have taken most of my money out of Sihanoukville branch.
I am coming back in a few days and need to get all this bullshit cleared up and an account in Siem Reap.
Good luck making your car payment.
A car you are not driving...I take it?
I have an old Impala in USA..i let the insurance lapse in September..I was not driving it.
My house is paid for..I can live in Cambodia because I don't have these payments or credit card debt.
I worry about new bank laws and down the road new visa rules.
I try to have funds available in banks and on hand should there be a bank issue...power outage..etc.

Does anyone know it? Ty in advance for assistance.
I am here not to answer the question, but i do come here for sharing my experience.
This problem get me 2 weeks to get the solution, and i wanna say it's very damn hard to get it done. Let's hear my story.

I am working for a company in the USA, but my home is in Cambodia. My USA accountant department tell me to send them the bank info, so they can wire me the salary. My first try is ABA bank.
1. I request the beneficiary detail, but in there, no have Bank Routing Number (ABA Number or ABA#) at all, which is the most wanted info of other detail, but i cannot get it.
2. I sent many emails to ABA Bank, they just say: they have only SWIFT code, no ABA# (I think this is true, ABA bank in Cambodia they don't have ABA#, but their intermediary bank do have one, you will know at the end why i think like this)
3. I got stuck here, then i search other bank, because i don't know what to do beside searching.
4. This is the day 4th, I decide to chat to ABA official Facebook Chat & they tell me like this:

=> They unable to tell me

#. [Let get to the key point] many days pasted, I try to contact the ACELEDA bank, then they print me the BENEFICIARY DETAIL. in there, the ACELEDA's intermediary bank was listed with the ABA number like: WELL FARGO BANK (with ABA#), Standard Chartered Bank (with ABA#), which i can use, for more detail pls contact ACELEDA.

Now my USA department be able to wire my salary to my ACELEDA account. In my opinion, USA & Canada bank, they use Bank Routing Number, also this ABA# is the problem for people in Cambodia to do the transaction.
Mission completed!

Good luck,
LEEX
just so you are aware, in the US, an ABA number is the routing number. So you can ask for an ABA routing number, or ABA number, or for a routing number and the answer for each (for a US bank) will be the same number.

glad you got your pay sorted to ACLEDA, but sounds like you'll be required to pay the wire transfer fee.
Still here, in country...

That ABA number you see from Acleda is actually their correspondent bank for a SWIFT transfer. Only US banks have ABA/routing numbers. Neither Acleda nor ABA are US banks, therefore they do not have ABA numbers.

ABA's list of correspondent banks for SWIFT transfers (the same as you got from Acleda) are listed here:

https://www.ababank.com/en/aba-news/upd ... s-network/

As you can see from the list, the correspondent bank used by ABA in the USA is Standard Chartered. Their ABA number can be found here if you really need it:

https://bank-code.net/routing-numbers/0 ... tered-bank

Please understand that these correspondent banks, whether from Acleda or ABA, are only valid for international SWIFT transfers. You can not do a domestic wire or ACH transfer to this account. You need to make sure the payroll department understands they are doing an international wire transfer, not a domestic transfer. They honestly don't need the ABA number. Just give them the SWIFT code and your beneficiary details, and whatever bank they use will figure out how to transfer the money to the appropriate correspondent bank.

The only reason this information may be of interest, is that if your company in the USA already has a corporate account with Standard Chartered in the USA, it will be cheaper and faster for them to do an international wire transfer to you in Cambodia from their account at Standard Chartered than from any other US bank.
