Which hospital

Post by chiltern »

A Khmer friends son recently had his appendix removed at Calmette Hospital which appears to have been botched, his wound opened up after two weeks after running up some stairs despite being told not to now he has been back in hospital for a week and there doesn't sound to be any improvement and I suspect his wound my have become infected. Communication is difficult as his family has very little English and I have even less Khmer also I am currently in Europe, the plan is to get a second opinion and if necessary move him to a different hospital I would be grateful for any suggestions of where they should try.

FWIW, FV Hospital in D7 of HCMC is very good at this specialty. I have a friend and an acquaintance who had successful operations there.
