Don't know why this did not get posted prior or if this is duplicate but here it goes.


UNBELIEVABLE ! Seems the police and security guards are working with the perpetrators of the crime rather than
against them. Another incident(s), scam, just tonight which is just too much to be just a coincidence and has to be
to be related to the former rip - off. A complete fabrication(s). First one girl tries "I was with you and you did not pay the
tuk tuk". Next another girl who I don't know either and never talked to before claims I went bom bom with her and I did
pay along with other stories. I said ok where do i stay. Then she says you came to my room and then goes on and on about I think
some fight I think and claims I hit her in the eye - I don't know for sure her exact fabrication since most if not all was in the
local language but anyway without going into detail after detail, including she apparently had a local boyfriend or anyway
some scammer on her side, though most of the bystanders including the bar manager owner seems they believed me
rather than her and her accomplice. Anyway later about 4 or 5 security guards came to the bar area and I ended up
in the security area with 4 or 5 or so security guards listening to her and me and sometimes her accomplice
though most spoke little if no English. Seems they DID believe me rather than her etc. This ordeal lasted quite a while without
going into details seemed they just wanted me to pay the scammers off which i at first did not and was not forced to
do so. They said these 2 people have done this before to others and best to just pay them off. Anyway the security guards said as long as
you are in golden sorya mall you don't have to worry because we can protect you but we can't
guarantee what will happen once you leave golden sorya mall.
I also told them about the prior $400 being stolen etc. and said I wanted
to also report that to the police and this girl was just making up the story because she assumed i had money.
The security guards called the police for me but said something about is not available right
now. Anyway it seems the guy accomplice was getting rather impatient and signaled the girl to forget it as this scam
was not going to work but she was insistent - would not leave and constantly staring at me.
Anyway after much deliberation one security guard escorted me to sit down
wherever i wanted in the mall etc. but the girl followed me direct and would not leave my side constantly staring at me.
And the security guards would not keep her away from me - said they cannot do that.
Anyway a bit later one of the security guards came to where i was sitting and said come over here... and there again was several security guards
and some other people who they wanted me to talk to perhaps because of their better English. One of the persons who did not
speak any English they claimed was the official police that had arrived from their prior call I assume or else they just made up the
story and I don't know for sure who was he but i think it was true. Anyway they said you can pay a security guard to escort me
home for a fee or pay the scammers, extortionists, or some other
options one of which was to go to G-pub. I could not
stand that girl constantly staring at me etc. and they would do nothing to keep her away from me ! They also said I could pay a security guard to sit with me at G-pub or pay off the scammers. CAn you believe that ! Anyway more and more discussion and one said come tomorrow morning to report the prior $400 plus laptop etc. to the police station and gave me an
address and they said someone will be able to speak English which I am not sure if that is true. Anyway after this and that etc.
I ended up giving the scammers $10 at their suggestion just to go away(I mean specifically her to go away) and the guards
and police said i will have no more trouble with them. NOw i am not sure whether to go to the said police station or not later this
morning or to just cut my losses as they seemed little eager to really or interested to help me. I will just be glad as soon as i can get my shit together to go to Sinanoukville where this type of scam(s) do not happen. I would certainly assume so anyway as i had no trouble last year and took
a nice reasonable girl about which i posted before though she did not speak much English. Though then again I had no such trouble last year at golden sorya mall either. My god this is so blatant corruption etc. I know this sounds unbelievable but it is true - oh yea one of security guards remarked earlier well " this is Cambodia " as if that was some excuse .

almost all hostess bars have a certain amount of accountability.

SHV is a paradise of probity where you are GUARANTEED that nothing bad will happen.

i would stay away from GSM now as there is a high likelihood you will be beaten within an inch of your life, or perhaps even beaten to death by the security.

So la Cyrcee now secrets is actually freelancer and does not have those type of problems or are you saying it is NOT freelancer but still ok ? And if so how far from say GSM ?
As far as GSM i do remember seeing that same girl along with others last year. So GSM has gotten substantially worse even within the last year ? Anyway will be glad when i can get it together and leave for SHV.
