Where To Play Pool Around Riverside Area

Post by Newinkow »

Hello fellow CEO members,

Now that the Pickle Parrot has shutdown, where do the decent pool players go to play pool near the Riverside area?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I’m crap at pool, (enjoy playing, but basically crap) but feel the following from what little I know, are valid-

You need at least 4 consistent things
Table
Balls
Cue
Room to manoeuvre

I don’t think I’ve ever found a place with a table that is level, recently mown, sans divots
That also has
A full set of same size balls
And
At least 2 cues that are fairly straight with tips
that isn’t
placed within 3feet of a major obstruction like a wall, fridge, etc.

There was a place near pontoon called gothka that would have satisfied those criteria. Closest with multiple good tables and good room is probably hops beer garden now.

Parrot is still open though if just moved next door to little Suzy, but it doesn't have the same room it used to have

Did the Pickled Parrot shut down recently? As the last I saw they had moved to st136, near the junction with Norodom.
