Where can I buy one of those quality Thai rain capes?
I've asked locals, but they are a bit unspecific, they just say in the market. I haven't been able to find one ' in the market' yet.
Any shops or markets directions? I've been told that they are around $5.
Cheers

Yep, in the market. Try Central or O'Russei.

Looks like useful info to me!

What did you want? The aisle number in the market, stall number and sellers name and phone number. Feck off!

I had one of those from Vietnam. They're good for popping it over the handle bars so that the light and spedo show through. But like all the numerous capes i have bought over the last 7 years, it was made from PVC, and fell appart in a few months.

The Thai ones I'm thinking of are made out of much stronger material.

When I was living in AU a friend in VN posted a pic like this and I wondered why you'd want a clear panel "down there" lol. But it all makes perfect sense when you find out.

I stopped going to central a couple years ago as all the places I used to go turned into second shops. They were selling used white shirts for $5 lol. That seems to have had the effect of putting the central shops (east side) up in price.

I have been to Orussey but I always get lost upstairs looking for the very few shops that sell mens clothes, which is where I've been told you can buy them. The one's I found don't sell them. Lol

I reckon that would be MUCH more useful info...Image

Or he could just buy one from the hair/beauty/body products shop about half way along where the bus station is downtown...Image

Cheers
