Lucky seems to have a lot of stock control issues.

Have you tried Bayon market? Canned food was $1.50 last time I saw it there.

Nice of you to look after the cats. Kittens get dumped all the time. You know that PPAWS does free desexing on Mondays, right?

for what you are paying for canned cat food, you could find a little old lady to make brown rice, liver and veg- she would get a little wage- the cats would be better nourished, and you would pay less.

Frankly, I think the cats would do just as well with white rice plus the cook would have to live with the smell in the kitchen. All in all a great idea and a lil old lady should be easier to find than a pair of comfy slippers.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

any of thoseitinerant bobor sellers on the street would do it.
surprisingly the brown rice is much better food- and it smells ok when cooking.
i added fish, used cooking oil and pig blood for my dogs if in the market early before it sells out.
i would guess hungry people at the pagoda would eat this too.
pagodas also feed people.

Why not buy some rat traps?

Chop up the rats an feed them to the cats.

That's the best idea Frank. And gives someone a little bit of spending money and something to do. And the cat will be so healthy too. :)

good field rats are $2.50/kg in the provinces and much more for the thriving export market to Vn- which is largely serviced by the hunting of urban rats in PP.

they are sold to the end user as ricefield rats. barf
