Where to buy pushbike in Siem Reap
Are there any shops that sell pushbikes in Siem Reap?
I'm not looking for a fancy long distance bike or a city bike with skinny wheels.
Just a secondhand mountain bike with decently thick wheels that can hold a few hundred pound guy. (about $50-$100)
I can go to Phnom Pehn if neccessary and none exist in SR.

I don’t get why you people want to get a bike and push it around .SiemReapRoddy wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 8:17 am Are there any shops that sell pushbikes in Siem Reap?

very much doubt you will get close to that price. Mountain bikes are dear, $150 for used kids bikes. arounf corner of 198 and 111 in PP there is a guy selling really clean used bikes at reasonable prices. i got 2 immaculate big wheel old style jap bikes for $80 for kids in the village to go toschool on. they actually prefer them to mountain bikes for whatever reason. Mountain bikes for 10years olds were over $100SiemReapRoddy wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 8:17 am Are there any shops that sell pushbikes in Siem Reap?

Wow, that's crazy.
I'm sure the last used mountain bike I bought in the UK was like 30 UK pounds and laster me years.
I don't mind paying the going rate. Would just like location of a used bike shop in SR if possible, instead of one of those shops that sells $3000 bikes to vegan cyclist hipsters.

I just looked on Google map here in Siem Reap...
There are places that rent mountain bikes you may be able to buy from at a fair price during these slow times...There are locations on National 6 and the main roads that cross N6 in town.
New bike stores for any budget as well.
It sounds like you are looking for the type of bike they rent....may be worth a try...
just google bike shops and take your pick.

I bought a used Trek mountain bike from Grasshopper bike tours for a $100 when I lived in Siem Reap. It was a while ago now but assuming they are still in business you could check them out. Along Wat Bo Road heading into town and take a left, bnear that Aussie burger restaurant.
Yes sir, I can boogie, I can boogie, boogie, boogie all night long.

Re: Where to buy pushbike in Siem Reap
I have found good quality second hand bikes to be be good value in the kingdom, though a bit "random". I think they are imported from Japan. There are quite a few shops in Siem reap, some around the Psar Leu area on rd 6. You might have to sift through a bit of rubbish but if you know what you are looking for you should be able to get a bargain. On street 105 in Pp I got a great deal.

There is an unlimited choice of secondhand bikes in Siem Reap.
Just go to Psar Leur area on RN 6 and there are bike shops as big as car lots.

I just bought a pushbike from a shop next to Psar Leu (on the highway on the city side). Second hand but new condition for $48.
