Where to buy a AAAA battery?

Post by ressl »

My digitizer has run dry after 2 years. I sent my guys out with the old one; they tried computer shops, watch repair booths and shops and electronic shops. No success...

I had the same problem a while back. I think I ended up getting them in Aeon Mall but can't be sure. I know they were a pain to find.

I don't know exactly about AAAA batteries, but two years back I remember finding a rare size of battery at the book shop on Sihanouk road near the "big" Lucky Supermarket that no one else had. They have a big display of batteries right in front.

Thank you both, I will give it a try tomorrow and report :)

Edit: while looking on the map, I realized that the book shop does not exist any more. AFAIK there is now a construction for the new branch of ABA (moving from across the road). Correct me if I'm wrong

^^^Sorry if the that bookstore is not there anymore, I'm not in town and I can't check.

I wish I knew the name of it, all I remember is that it was on the corner of an intersection and was huge (like 3-4 stories) and the battery display case was near the entrance.

Good luck with search

I remember now, I needed them for a stylus pen for a laptop and found them in Beckie Deal Computer shop.

I think they were aware of how difficult they are to find as they weren't cheap.

Mr DIY at Sorya Mall might have them.

IBC on Sihanouk moved down Street 63 to corner 322.

sorry for the late response. Aeon was a huge success, 2 pieces in a blister for just $1.50. Way more cheap as expected; brand: Camelion (I know them from Germany, where this brand is sold at supermarkets; not high end performance, but for fobs, remote controls and clocks they are fine)

^^Is that the Ni-Mh rechargeable kind? If so, just heads up, expect them to last 30-40% as long as an alkaline version.

I have 4 sets of Camelion rechargeable batteries I run for audio equipment, and that's been my experience. Thanks for updating your post.
