What happens if you die in cambodia?

Post by james1234 »

Just a practical macabre question. What happen if I am found dead in cambodia. Will not be married and have no relatives there. What will they do with the body? I am Dutch and want to move to Cambodia soon for semi retirement.
Just say I would like to know but don't care a lot. Dead is dead. But for me no need to fly the body home at high costs.

Your corpse will be taken to a pagoda, or if you are somewhere like Phnom Penh, a hospital with a morgue, for example the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital. Your embassy will be notified of your death and they will contact your family. Of course by that time, one of your relatives will have googled your name for no particular reason and discovered a thread about your death on this website with an inappropriate title, insensitive comments, virtue-signalling, and graphic pictures of your corpse. If you happen to die naked, you can rest assured that your cock and balls will be pixelated by the Khmer press. At least three regular posters who may or may not have ever met you will write that you were a top bloke.

If your family want your body, the pagoda or morgue will keep it so that your family can celebrate the tradition.

First thing that happens is we find as much details about you and your death as possible before we give you your own topic on CEO. If you have a public Facebook account, that's a bonus. Then we take all the pics that we can find about you and your death, and if they aren't graphic, we post them, since it is often up to us to keep the public informed about what's going on 'round these here parts. If we deem some of the pics too graphic for the public, then you really luck out and get a SECOND topic on CEO, but this time in the hidden Darknet Cambodia News forum. Then we spend days, sometimes weeks, debating if it was really a heart attack, or a setup by a Khmer woman who wanted you gone, food poisoning, etc.

Hope that answers your question. Image

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

What if you have no immediate family? I.e. other than cousins.
How do they go about tracking them down in another country or do they even bother?

embassy does that.
cheap option is to instruct your family to tell them fuck off.
firewood is only about $25
it won't take them long to act as they are not in the business of storing stiffs as a charity

I told my next of kin to tell them to dump me in the river and hang up. Once you're dead, you're dead, who cares.
