Even dying in Cambodia is more expensive than Thailand
Our cost for local cremation in Phuket and hand over ash is THB 40,000.( $1,275) Include paper work , cremation services , Urn , Thai death certificate and translation death certificate.
This is our current price and it does not include hospital bills, mortuary bills , collect and send belongings.
They offer a good deal;
Prepaid funeral. so no one is stuck with the bill

In comparison, GF's mom died last year, total cost for cremation ( in the back yard) food,drinks and monks $150

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

This is actually a pretty good question which deserves some serious answers. Who do you contact first? How do you get a death certificate issued? If the foreigner has a will, how to go about executing it? Who do you need to seek permission from prior to cremation? Etc,Etc...

This article about foreigners dying in Vietnam is pretty good

https://www.asialifemagazine.com/vietna ... n-vietnam/

My family all know that I'll be burnt to ashes province styles, and kept here by the missus...fk wasting all that money to send a body back "home".

Here's a good question...does anyone know whether organs can be donated here?
