Welding high-tensile steel
I need the kickstart on my bike welded, it has a small crack at the base, so its mojo is not working, will not return to base after start.
Yes, I know I should buy a new one, but they are $70, and this is a bad time (not that time of month)

Can't help with your query, would imagine a HT weld would be too brittle for a kickstart lever. Wouldn't you find a SH replacement up the back of TTP for $10?

I'm thinking I should drag a Khmer guy behind me, and he can push-start me every time, maybe pay him $1/day. Fair?
You know, this could be a great idea for an NGO...
Moto-pushers in Cambodia earn less than $1/day, and many cannot afford Leffe bruin. Donate now! (pic of sad motodop with SUV hidden by Photoshop)

The guy down the road's battery went in his Tico the other day.
I had to give him a jump start from my iPod.
