FYI, the 2016 and on 690 Dukes have the revised motor that vibrates less and produces 74hp at the back wheel. That motor is now in the 2017 Husky 701 Motard and Enduro. If you anticipate plenty of highway riding, the models with the new less vibey motor is something to consider, but not cheap of course.

Are you after the motard or the enduro? I have seen a couple of motards around driven by khmer. There is also a sporsbike shop now on sihanouk junction of 113 south side. has all kinds of sports bikes and ducati motards used imports. darra has a very recent kawasaki versys he is selling for a customer if you are more road oriented

Well a Versy is not so capable offroad at the ktm but its a hell of lot cheaper and has a good reputation. think its made in Thailand now so parts are a doddle and racks and crash bungs and all that good stuff. However.... Motards are flipping useless in the countryside in the rainy season. those littel frot wheels are too twitchy and wide section, so if you have to go even just half a click up a dirt track i would get something that has wheels you can get knobblies on. i am running 'dual Purpose" tyres at the mo and they are good on dry dirt, gravel and tarmac but totally accidnets waiting to happen in muddy time
