You can pay $70 extra for a quick turnaround of the EOS (making the total fee about $370 for a one year multiple entry).
Two weeks for processing now. Will take that into account when I book a flight and seek an ER visa in July. Thanks.

If you apply before they will deduct time from your extension's validity. Assuming you have a one month ordinary visa now you could have applied on day one.

I just read the above posting by KAMMEKOR. I just joined this forum so forgive me for not pasting the full correspondence.

My understanding is that one can arrive into Siem Reap for one to two weeks get an Ordinary Visa on arrival, apply for an EOS, namely the ER and leave after receiving one's Passport.

Is that correct.

I am trying to book my flights in July but I have a max of 14 days in Cambodia.

Thanks for your replies.
If you have a max of 14 days here why do you want a 12 month EOS

Would that processing time be applicable to using a Travel Agent in Phnom Penh?

Thanks for the info.

Can you recommend a reliable Travel Agent in Phnom Penh who can do a quick turn around? Yes, I am over 55, (59).

Yes, see Moll in The Pub on st. 174 (near the junction with Norodom). It's a bar/restaurant but Moll, the manager, does a good visa service. They open around 10am.
AFAIK, you can pay about $300 for the two week service or $370 for next day service.
They do a great English breakfast btw!

The problem with using guys like this is that if something happens like you loose your passport you will not be able to get copies of your record of purchase to show proof that you had a valid EOS at the time you lost it.
Lucky Moto does keep these type of records.

Re processing time for ER visa. A friend living in PP says it can take up to three weeks due to the herd of Chinese seeking visas. Anyone else can corroborate?

Visas now take up to 3 weeks to process. God knows why. Also can be longer depending on public holidays. You can get express service for $$ more. ER visa you need to be over 55 and one passport photo. Thats it. Used Mol at the Pub on St 174. Very helpfull and explained a lot as the rules seem to change week by week.

Cheers mate. I have to return to Vietnam after getting the Cambo visa so I need to set appropriate flight and hotel dates.
