ER Visa
Re: ER Visa
Just use an agent, the DoI will charge you the same as an agent anyway. As you are 55+ you will not be required to provide supporting documentation if applying via an agent.
Re: ER Visa
Thanks for the reply Kiwi, I will let you know how I get on.

Re: ER Visa
So the agents receive a discount from DoI? How do they make $ on visa renewals, extensions, etc?
I paid $295.00 per yr.at least for two years maybe 3 years.

Re: ER Visa
Apparently, the Retirement Visa is not allowed to certain countries, regardless of their finances.

Re: ER Visa
The real price of a visa is around $150. The agent gets some of that ($295), the rest goes toward the Immigration Dept annual ball.
Re: ER Visa
No documents of proof for the time being! When and if it changes the shit will hit the fan.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
Re: ER Visa
The official fee for a 12 mth EOS is $170. Agents actually make fk all out of the service, it's the immigration officials which are benefiting the most as you say...shit, just take a look in the DoI car park!Username Taken wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 6:08 pmThe real price of a visa is around $150. Re: ER Visa
You can apply for an EOS one month before the expiry date of your current visa without losing any 'time' on your extension. If you apply before they will deduct time from your extension's validity. Assuming you have a one month ordinary visa now you could have applied on day one.
I just read the above posting by KAMMEKOR. I just joined this forum so forgive me for not pasting the full correspondence.
My understanding is that one can arrive into Siem Reap for one to two weeks get an Ordinary Visa on arrival, apply for an EOS, namely the ER and leave after receiving one's Passport.
Is that correct.
I am trying to book my flights in July but I have a max of 14 days in Cambodia.
Thanks for your replies.

Re: ER Visa
Correct, assuming you are over 55. But EOSs are taking two weeks to process, more if there are holidays. Luckily July is remarkably free of holidays. You can pay $70 extra for a quick turnaround of the EOS (making the total fee about $370 for a one year multiple entry).
