EB visa requirement

Ask us anything. Cambodia Expats Online has a huge community of long-term expats that can answer any question you may have about life in Cambodia. Have some questions you want to ask before you move to Cambodia? Ask them here. Our community can also answer any questions you have about how to find a job or what kind of work is available for expats in Cambodia, whether you're looking for info about Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or anywhere else in the Kingdom. You're also welcome to ask about visa and work permit questions as well, as the immigration rules change often, especially since COVID-19. Don't be shy, ask CEO's community anything!

I've decided to go to Thailand for a few days. When I come back (land crossing) I need to get a regular tourist Visa and the 6 month EG EOS?
No, you need an E-type (Ordinary) visa and then the EG EOS.

I'm still staggered that there's no form of family visa for expats with Khmer spouses/partners. That's just not right.

i didnt say wp i said eb eos without ever having a wp.
if u apply for a wp u will be fined
"Fined" is a relative term. Do the dumb thing and get your WP through an agent and you'll certainly be "fined" for previous years. Personally I think that "fine" money completely disappears before it ever hits the books.

I'm yet to hear of a person being "fined" for previous years if they use the WP online portal.

How much for the pheasant?

It's been a long time since I did in my own country.

I grew up working on a dairy farm, and life was peaceful and harmonious, with butterflies and daisies. Then the farmer's son decided to try turkeys for the Christmas market, as they were relatively unknown in Western Australia at that time. I hate those damned birds.

Is bringing in external income and spending it on rent - and elsewhere in the local economy - not a contribution? Especially when you're (mostly) being charged Barang prices...
Try that in any western country. I am sure they will agree and will not charge you any tax at all. Thailand has a visa scheme now for people who do that but tis expensive
