Cambodia Visa Extension (agency or do it yourself?)
Re: Visa Extension (agency or do it yourself?)
Thanks for the replies.
Any suggestion on a good agent that's cheap and in PP. I'm staying near Wat Botum Park.

Cina Travel house #129, St. 130
Your Thai GF's visa exempt entry (technically) cannot be extended, in order for her to stay longer than 14 days she should have purchased a Visa on Arrival like you.

I renewed my tourist visa recently for $30 at the immigration place across from the airport. Dropped it off and picked it up one week later. Had nothing better to do anyway. Grab rickshaw cost just over a dollar each way from where I was staying.

It's rare for a Thai lady to be willing to stay in Cambodia for more than 14 days. She was probably smart enough to know the rules.

Cina Travel price is $48. I'm going to head to Immigration tomorrow and do it myself.

I hear Route 3 bus is only 50 cents one way.Kammekor wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:34 pmIf you take your bicycle it's worth the hassle, or if you live opposite the airport. If you're in town the two return trips will cost you nearly 18 USD.

Your source is right, you better save some time for the trip up and down. Also plan your visit carefully, at the DoI they do pretty long hour lunch breaks.fitnesspm wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 11:45 pmI hear Route 3 bus is only 50 cents one way.Kammekor wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:34 pmIf you take your bicycle it's worth the hassle, or if you live opposite the airport. 1500 riel, no change given.
A Grab car to/from the airport generally costs about $7. There is also the train to/from the airport, I believe it costs $2.50.
Let us know how you get on at the DoI.
Smile a lot and stay calm.
