Vehicle Delivery from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville

Post by Luigi »

Anyone have a clue as to go about having a vehicle picked up in SR & delivered to SKV on a flat bed or enclosed box truck? I think I may be crazy for asking. Where am I?

Good luck with this one, I for one would be interested if you find anyone who does something even remotely close to this in Cambodia.

"SKV" is Sihanoukville, I assume? I edited the name of this topic, ever so slightly for clarification.

I knew I was jumping off into uncharted waters with that idea. Thanks for the thoughts Frank & Kiwi. The train is a definite solution to part of it. I suppose if I had the cajones for the SR to PP part I could do the PP to SKV portion. I really want this vehicle but it is a black Land Rover w/non working A/C. FUK! Made that trip by motorcycle last year in April, did not find it all that much fun. Hmmmm.

Have considered both of those options., Best one for me is to have A/C fixed & drive. However not knowing anyone in SR or thinking there would be a compressor, condenser, evaporator, dryer, etc. available in the land of Angkor is folly at best.

Between the idea and the reality falls the shadow. T.S. Elliot.

Upon re-reading all of this it sounds like this whole idea has not seen the light of the oven.
But, but, I really want it. I like motorized toys.
