Cheques, or USA checks, are oh so 1950's. When is the country going to catch up with the rest of the world and deposit money directly into other peoples bank account.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Duncan I agree with you but electronic deposits from the US to Cambodian accounts are illegal according to American law. Would that it were otherwise. I take my checks from the American embassy and deposit them in Cambodian Public Bank and then have to wait 2 months for them to clear. I don't know the paper trail, I just know that they go through several American banks before I can use the money.

By getting my checks, i meant actually i get direct deposit to my US account

"getting my check" is just a sorta slang, for receiving your $$

They wont direct deposit to a non us address bank account for fear of fraud
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

[quote="Luigi"]An email received. :evil5: Anyone else?

Starting in August 2016, Social Security is adding a new step to protect your privacy as a my Social Security user. This new requirement is the result of an executive order for federal agencies to provide more secure authentication for their online services. Any agency that provides online access to a customer’s personal information must use multifactor authentication.

..."

Thank god that rule was rescinded - found out that when I really bitched about it also. Bad enough the jerks make you change your password every 6 months which certainly should NOT be. That new director is a real a-hole. Going exactly the wrong way. Opposite to relaxing all 'security' which should be the motive and make things more convenient for the public.
Almost as disgusting as those damn TSA and security personnel at airports. Violating your constitution rights by examining your carry on and even check in luggage. That constitution means nothing - they never heard of illegal search and seizure !
