Look at the first two replies... Yes, it's a bad end of a night.

I paid a torn $100 bill into my account at Canadia. The cashier gave me a dirty look but she accepted it.

Re: Torn/ripped USD banknotes
I paid one into the cash-in ATM at my ABA branch two days ago, and the machine took it no problem. Today lady calling me from ABA saying they cannot accept that note, please come and exchange for a nicer one.
What do I do? I think if it would be possible to withdraw all cash from ATM now and just close the account with them instead as I need to do it anyway (I am switching to resident account from non-resident).

exchange the other notes the same way before they catch on, then cash out and close the account! On another note, will locals accept a torn in two note as payment for services or products?
