Neither have I (street 154 and Norodom).

Do you think we are safe now the rains have started?
No water in the Stung Atai system.
47mm so far this May compared to 406mm on May last year.
I think the cuts will continue for some time yet.

The 30 year average for May is (just) 270 mm, so this year was dry, but last year was extremely wet.

And I doubt just 47 mm in May 2019, because the period 20-28 May had over 47 mm already, and there have been some good showers in the second and third week of May:

I hope they based themselves on the 30 year average when they decided to build the system....

I don't think the amount of rain really matters. Just imagine all the new malls, condos and boreys that are going up over the course of this rainy season and next dry season. I fear that we haven't seen the worst of it yet. Far from it.

Yep. Unfortunately the powers that be are probably thinking things are back to normal, instead of projecting an increase in demand of at least 25% in the next 12 months as all those new condos and casinos start powering up their AC.

Yes, next year might be an even tougher one than this year, unless they manage to buy loads of power abroad.

Correct for my place, although downtown gets a bit more, up here next to the wat, we're in a bit of a rain shadow
Still, very dry compared to last year.
I wonder if that has something to do with the trees the aliens took or if it's just a sign of the times?

weather is always a bit capricious...

Would be interesting to see last 10 year averages compared to long term averages of the 30 years before though.

So I was looking at EDC's 2015 annual report, wondering how these projections are panning out in reality? Have we hit the 2020 target early?
