Depends where you do it and who you know and what you are doing it for.
Last price I heard was a while ago and it was $50k in snooky and $70k in PP, about 6 months to do it.
Every lawyer who does it will give you a different price.
the official way is to make a donation to the government or a business investment of around $250-$300k, but the amount depends on what you are investing in. For example they want dairy so the investment is less if you are setting up a dairy farm, or it was 2 years ago
If you invest a chunk its easier. if you are married to a khmer and preferably have children they make it difficult but its way cheaper and takes forever

I'm thinking of moving to Vietnam... just got quoted a 12mo business visa for $200 + $135 stamping fee... which seems cheap.

Just feeling it out for now. As I said it "seems cheap" so I wonder what the catch is. And yes it's supposedly a 12 month ME business visa. Could well be a case of "if something seems too good to be true...' yet.

Say 50K divided by 300usd/year for a visa gives 166 years worth of visas , doesnt really make sense no matter how i look at it ideologically, for me ATM

Think the Veitnam have seen the problems with other countries. Made the visa to suit. USA cheapest. China's most expensive.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
