Is there more men or women in

Ask us anything. Cambodia Expats Online has a huge community of long-term expats that can answer any question you may have about life in Cambodia. Have some questions you want to ask before you move to Cambodia? Ask them here. Our community can also answer any questions you have about how to find a job or what kind of work is available for expats in Cambodia, whether you're looking for info about Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or anywhere else in the Kingdom. You're also welcome to ask about visa and work permit questions as well, as the immigration rules change often, especially since COVID-19. Don't be shy, ask CEO's community anything!

In my opinion I think there are more men in the site. What is your opinion everyone? And Why do you think like this?
I'm just happy that we have a few Cambodians on this site and I hope we can get a few more posting here. Don't worry about how good or bad your English is , as a second language, it is bound to be a lot better than the Khmer language that many barangs speak and write. After living in Cambodia for ?? years I can only write the numbers 1, 2 and 3, so one could say your second language skills are way better than mine.
The problem is that sometime we don't know what you guys are talking about ( a lot of slang).
English is my second language as well, and when I come across slang I don't understand http://www.urbandictionary.com will usually tell me. It's a great site for new expressions and slang.

Og good! Thanks for sharing

Probably I'm known for crackpot ideas...here comes another one. A club, yes club, for Khmers and expats to mix, meet and greet. Hell, put in a couple chessboards, maybe out front on one of them cement board/tables. Have classes, or whatever. Barang foods, prepared and shared there. Khmer can do the same. Discussion, and mixing informally. I know, weird huh. I mean it COULD be done across the country. I think mostly the Khmers won't go into the bars and perhaps a bar is not such a good place for this idea. I'd love to have Grannies showing household hints, or crafts. Do they MAKE soap here? I mean maybe get that going. Oral histories, lots of possibilities. Welcome to little moon. Invite some friends.

No way am I going to join that club.. I don't want no uneducated, third world person beating me,, a highly educated barang,, at a game of chess.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I think we scare of most of the women for the reasons you've mentioned, LoL.

Glad that you've been tough enough to hang around! :thumb:
Yes, I agree with you! We need more women

Hmmmm yeah. We paid over $40k for him to do a masters in education with a major in TESOL, can you tell? Heh heh. I think his sense of humor gets in the way of a complete sentence.
