Thanks Scoffer, I'm creaming it, lol. It's now even bigger, but doesn't hurt as much, although that's probably because I haven't been riding the bike all day, unlike the previous days. So I'm giving it a bit more time before improvising a lance.

It's a tissue damage (you have mentioned bicycling I guess). The human body needs time to repair damaged tissue. All you can do is to support your body and try to avoid a secondary infection (antibiotics). Also try to get a Dimethylsulfoxid cream - it has a strong decongestant effect.

i had 2 just below my armpit when i was living in SR, was in a nightmare of a place, made the mistake of popping and squeezing, as i first though it was just an infected mozzy bite, but apparently that just encourages the puss to build up

was in pain for weeks, anti biotics sorted it out
