I suggest you listen to how Cambodians say it, rather than getting it from the internet.
One of the first things people learn is 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10.

As I have shown according to both IPA and UN it is b. I don’t know which standard you think you are using. At least it is clear that you are not spelling it in accordance with the International Phonetic Alphabet.
I suggest that your ears are not very good at distinguishing sounds.
If you wish to discuss this further you should take it up with the International Phonetic Association. I’m sure they will be very keen to hear your argument that they should listen to Cambodians speak and learn to count.

I said that according to IPA and UN standards it is romanized with b. Which standard are you using for your romanization and how does it handle the conflict with the actual word dop, as in motodop? Oh right you don’t have one, you just write how it sounds to your Aussie ears. I’ll stick to IPA thank you very much.

Can confirm from Kampong Som to Kampong Speu, From Kampot to Kampong Thom, From Phnom Penh to Pailin and Svay Rieng to Siem Reap the pronunciation is "b"

As I've observed previously the p/b sound is somehow both and yet neither. Even the dictionary I have uses 'pb' to express it. Try not to lose any sleep over it.
