I send to America to get it. I never travel without it. I always keep at least one bottle in my house.

New Zealand would have one of the best supplies of natural Teatree oil. The native name is Manuka, or Kanuka

The Manuka Honey from NZ is also very famous as it has anti bacterial properties in it . People with bad burns can continuously cover the burn site with Manuka honey and
there will be no scaring when the burn has healed.
I made a lot of Honey Mead with the honey on my farm when I had it, and a 70 year old lady who was on deaths door by her doctors orders , bought it by the gallon and
surprise surprise, had a remarkable recovery.

Photo of a 280 acre farm I bought about the year 1968 covered in teatree Manuka.

And there was my house, center of first photo.

We cleared so much of it and I hear that it is difficult to propagate. If we knew then what we know now it is probably more profitable than pasture. Where was your place Duncan?

Ngunguru. I think you heard wrong. Any soil with low ph it will grow naturally , so once in pasture unlikely to grow.

Look on Aliexpress, they have it and will ship to your PO Box. I've bought many things in that site.

Make it again please! I'll be a regular customer if it turns out ok! Is the honey you can find here of suitable quality for this?

To buy honey to make mead, would work out too expensive. In the early days [ pre 1970 ] no-one wanted manuka honey as it was too thick to spin out of the frame. and also too stronger taste for a lot of people. Just like wine, honey mead , because of the sugar content , needs a very long fermentation period.

Believe this or not, I had so much honey mixed with the wax cappings , that I mixed large amounts of it with whatever I could get , like vegies and beef and pork bones, fat etc ,boiled it in a old copper and fed it to the pigs. I sold one pig to a guy who was so impressed with the meat, and one week later he returned and bought all 20 pigs at a premium price.
