Thank you all for your recommendations. Sounds like their are 2 choices to consider. For Hanno, the original title of the subject was "Tattoo Artist in Cambodia?". Thus the replies just used an abbreviation, similar to the size of your cock (or brain). Why is this so important to you? Also, as it seems there is always a contest to compare how long each of us has been in "Cambodia", in this contest you loose. Maybe new to CEO but not new to listening to simple minds.

If I am not mistaken, Australians call Australia Oz. No Cambodian calls their country Cambo and No Vietnamese calls their country Nam.

Most of the young Vietnamese also use Saigon. HCMC is for official stuff. If you want to really go nit-picking, then Saigon is actually part of HCMC. But again, it is used interchangeably by pretty much everybody.

yeah thats what i thought, and right, Saigon is the city and HCMC is kind of like the province or something? got named it after the war right?
guessing its a similar thing to Sihanoukville and Kampong Saom?

Saigon would really be District one, three and five as the rest of the districts only became part of HCMC after the war in 1975 or 76.

Out of curiosity why do veterans get to call Vietnam nam but tourists don't?

I like short names.
