havent tried yet, but i think the ebike stuff is pretty cool, actually..

its something like green e-bike or so, in SR in the center, off srivatha road or what the name, direction river.

think, phuketrichard may have gotten it slightly wrong.. when remember right, its 20km/h and 40km reach or so, with one load.

there are charging stations around, e.g. at the hard rock.
you can charge at any socket.

they look really good, quite small, cute, and so...
but dont know how much it is.

and - you dont need ANY driving license

The mega cities in China are being transitioned to electric scooters - the lack of exhaust noise is eery until you realize what the difference is. And people lounging around free recharge booths, that's odd too.

Thanks for the info Richard.

I don't ride motorbikes and the only time I hired a scooter in Hua Hin I managed to hit the kerb and fly over the handlebars at 3 miles per hour whilst doing a U turn on a 6 lane road, these look more like my speed

Another question guys,

Ive been doing more surfing and seen the hot air balloon flights over Angkor Wat. I am pretty sure there are no Cambodian words for Health and Safety but anyone been on or heard of any reports for these.

Hot Air Balloons Rise Again Over Angkor Wat

By Sek Odom and Simon Henderson | January 16, 2014

A hot air balloon company in Siem Reap province recommenced flights this week, nine months after one of its balloons carrying 17 tourists over the Angkor Wat temple complex crash-landed and injured nine people, an official said Wednesday.

Those ebikes are EVERYWHERE in Vietnam. It really surprised me. They're the equivalent of the bicycle for school children in rural areas and tons of city dwellers use them too. Some claimed to be able to do 80km on a charge. It's a step in the right direction, but I can't help but wonder who recycles the battteries...
