Should I Visit Goa, India or Addis Ababa, Ethiopia?

So, I have a holiday (a little over 2 weeks) coming up at the end of this month.

Flights to Goa, India and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia are about the same price during this holiday (about $460, return).

Which one should I go to? Will be booking a ticket in the next day or 2.

Goa sounds wild and crazy, but I recall hearing negative shit about the place recently.

If you've been to both, great! If you've only been to one or have just heard about the places, I'd also like to get your feedback.

Goa is 100% pure backpacker territory. Drugs, forgotten hippies singing "OOOOOOmmmmmm", lot's and lot's of gays and a lot of underage stuff. I'd say: NO, no way

LoL! ! I hear good things about Ethiopia!

I'm leaning towards Goa, because Ethiopia is a short swim across the Red Sea from me, so I don't need a whole 2 weeks to get over there another time.

Also, the flights to Addis are usually around $250 return, but right now because of the Hajj pilgrimage they are closer to $500.

2 weeks might be a bit much thou for goa

how about Greece, few days in Athens ( one of my favorite cities) than hit a few islands
