Replacement for Zolpidem/Stilnox?

Post by StroppyChops »

I have clinical insomnia and my hoard of Zolpidem/Stilnox from Australia is almost out. I know they're available in Cambodge but at the universal price of $1 a tablet, which is too expensive if alternatives are available.

Is there a cheaper over-the-counter product that induces clear, deep sleep for at least four hours? Preferably without narcotic dreams?

Have you tried melatonin? I was surprised by how well it worked.

I haven't, because I already suffer from night terrors and melatonin is known to increase this if it's already a problem for you. Might be worth a try though - do you know what product name it's sold under here, and rough cost?

No idea. I was handed a stack of them when I was, um, cutting back on them and Valium.

Stillnox to knock you out, Valium to keep you sleep.
